This year, above all else, the HD Awards provides an opportunity to honor, celebrate, and recognize the amazing work achieved by the people—from designers, architects, owners, developers, operators, and manufacturing partners—who continue to make the hospitality industry great.

“2020 was a year unlike any other. Not only did it show how resilient our industry is, but also proved the important role hospitality plays in our lives,” says Stacy Shoemaker Rauen, editor in chief at Hospitality Design magazine and senior vice president of the design group at Emerald. “The range of work we’re honoring this year is nothing short of amazing, showcasing the incredible caliber of talent in our industry, and we couldn’t be more excited to honor and recognize all of our finalists and winners.”

Project and product winners, including Best in Show and Hotelier and Designer of the Year, will be announced during a ceremony on Tuesday, September 21st held at Cipriani South Street in New York.
